🚨 JUST IN: ARK’S BTC ETF APPLICATION DELAYED

This morning, the SEC announced an extension (delay) of its review of the Ark 21Shares bitcoin ETF application, amidst review of applications from financial giants such as BlackRock and Fidelity.

In 2021, Ark Invest, headed by Cathy Wood, was the pioneer in filing for a BTC spot ETF.

Cathy Woods spoke earlier this week with Bloomberg and mentioned her expectations of a delay - saying that instead she thinks the SEC will approve multiple ETFs at once.

(I’m sure Blackrock - a player who isn’t fond of 2nd place - loves hearing that opinion from Cathy re: the historical approval)
