Today’s Charts:

😱 NUMBER OF STAKED ETH SURPASSES 23 MILLION
As the volume of staked ETH has steadily increased since the Shapella upgrade in April, there are now 23.3 million ETH staked (as of June 27).
The 23.3 million ETH staked is equivalent to $43.1 billion and accounts for close to 20% of the current ETH supply.
What does staking ETH mean ➡️ this involves validating transactions by locking in (staking) native ETH tokens and earning rewards as validators.
The Shapella upgrade mentioned above enabled validators to withdraw their staked ETH from the Beacon chain. This upgrade eliminated withdraw risks and has elevated growth in ETH staking overall.
Fun fact: as much 💩 as the U.S. gets with crypto, the U.S. hosts the majority of node operators on the ETH blockchain, with 48% of all validators based there.
