CHINA CENTRAL TELEVISION AIRS CRYPTO SEGMENT 📺

China Central Television (CCTV) recently aired a segment highlighting the adoption of crypto with an audience of over 1 billion people in China.

  • According to reports, Hong Kong regulators have completed necessary preparations for virtual asset trading and are now accepting applications from trading platforms.

  • The guidelines from Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) for virtual asset trading will take effect in June 2023.

  • There are currently no virtual asset trading platforms for retail investors that have been approved by the SFC… which trading platform will prevail?

TREZOR T WALLET HACKED BY CYBERSECURITY PROS 👀🚨

According to Unciphered, a team of cybersecurity experts specializing in retrieving lost cryptocurrency, they have discovered a method to hack into Trezor’s T hardware wallet.

  • Unciphered exploited an "unpatchable hardware vulnerability" in the STM32 chip, allowing retrieval of the embedded flash and OTP data.

  • In english ➡️ Unciphered successfully accessed the seed phrase and PIN of a Trezor T hardware wallet in a labratory demonstration.

  • The Unciphered team mentioned that in order to carry out this attack, the device must be in the physical possession of the hacker.

  • Unciphered did not contact Trezor prior to publicizing the vulnerability, stating their obligations were to consumers rather than vendors.

SPACE PEPES MAKE THEIR ARRIVAL KNOWN🛸 

The "Space Pepes" collection, based on Bitcoin, emerged as the top-traded non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in a span of seven days, with a trading value exceeding $7.3 million.

  • Ever since the introduction of Ordinals, the smallest units of Bitcoin called Satoshis can now be "inscribed" with various data like text, audio, and video, leading to a significant change

  • Qiao Wang, an esteemed investor in the web3 space, referred to the increase in Bitcoin NFTs as a "narrative violation."

  • Weekly figures for Bitcoin-based artwork surpassed popular Ethereum-based collection Bored Ape Yacht Club, highlighting the rising popularity of Bitcoin art over its counterparts
